Traditional service provider contracts and arrangements

Many of Nocturne's clients prefer a more traditional, less "dot-commish" mode of service delivery. Delivery of services in a 'traditional mode' means:

  • Contracts are negotiated and signed before services are delivered
  • Billing is either fixed priced for specific deliverables, or per hour
  • Services can be delivered remotely, either over the Internet or using telecommuting methods, or they can be delivered onsite at the client's offices or labs
  • The client can select specific Nocturne contributors who will perform specific tasks or have defined project responsibilities
  • The client has the option to 'interview' Nocturne contributors to ensure suitability
  • The client can integrate Nocturne contributors and Nocturne processes into their own teams, effectively using Nocturne contributors as direct subcontractors.

How long does it take to set up a traditional services contract?

The time needed to set up a contract and to start delivering services depends on you, the client. Nocturne's streamlined processes allow it to begin delivering services as soon as a contract is signed and requirements are defined. (This could happen in less than a day, if you know exactly what you want and you have the signing authority.)

How much does it cost?

Nocturne's rates are competitive. Our per-hour or perdiem rates on traditional contracts vary depending on your specific requirements, but are roughly the same as those we charge for our online service accounts. Nocturne will provide you with a detailed quote or proposal on request.

How do I proceed?

To request further information, or to request a quote or proposal in order to get the process started towards a service contract, gather your requirements, including your working preferences, known deliverables and timeline, and email us.

If you have an immediate question regarding availability or the contract process, contact us using any of our contact options.
