About the Nocturne website
This website provides information about Nocturne's services and provides service portals that let customers access services online. The site includes advanced communications options, including an SMS message transmitter and an interactive, browser-based text chat function.
The website uses a complex associative structure to encourage exploration while reducing the number of clicks needed to navigate to specific content. The site uses advanced features sparingly (click here to find out why), and is content rich.
Areas that contain static content (information that does not require regular update) are hard coded in HTML. Dynamic content is delivered using PHP. Javascript is used to enable browser-based messaging.
